Our story
Built around a different question
Most transport companies are built around sales targets. Alvora was built around a different question: what does a shipment actually need to arrive on time, in good condition, with the right paperwork at the border?
Before founding Alvora, our team spent years managing transport flows between mainland Europe, the UK and Ireland — watching shipments pass through layers of subcontractors, each one adding cost, delay and one more phone call before anyone could give a straight answer. The gap wasn't a lack of capacity. It was a lack of control.
Alvora operates its own refrigerated, curtain-side and moving floor trailers, handles customs declarations across Europe — including the UK and Ireland — in-house, and keeps the same people involved in a shipment from quote to delivery. It's a smaller way of working than a typical freight forwarder — and that's deliberate.

Georg Allemann
Founder
Georg Allemann is the founder of Alvora Logistics and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from TalTech. Having built his career in international road transport, customs procedures and European freight operations, he combines practical logistics expertise with a strong commercial mindset.
His focus is on building long-term partnerships, developing efficient transport solutions and ensuring that clients always have a reliable point of contact throughout the entire supply chain.

Mark-Andreas Jaakson
Operations and Business Development
Mark-Andreas Jaakson brings an international perspective to Alvora Logistics. He studied International Business in the United States and has developed strong expertise in freight forwarding, customs procedures and cross-border transport operations.
Combining academic knowledge with practical logistics experience, he works closely with customers to create efficient transport solutions and maintain smooth communication throughout every shipment.
