A trailer floor that does the unloading for you
A Walking Floor trailer has a hydraulically driven slatted floor. At the push of a button, the slats move in a cycle that carries cargo from the front of the trailer to the back — no tipping the bed, no driving onto a ramp, and no equipment needed on the receiving end beyond somewhere for the material to land. For sites that handle bulk or loose goods regularly, that difference adds up to real time saved on every delivery.

What we move on Walking Floor trailers
Why Walking Floor
Compared to a standard trailer
No forklifts or cranes at discharge
The trailer floor does the work — hydraulically driven slats move cargo straight out the back, with no extra equipment needed on site.
Faster turnaround
Discharge happens while the trailer stays level and stationary, cutting time at depots and delivery sites compared with manual unloading.
Works on uneven ground
Unlike tippers, a Walking Floor trailer doesn't need to raise its bed to unload — useful at sites where a tipper simply can't operate safely.
Gentler on cargo
Goods are pushed out gradually rather than dumped, reducing damage to fragile bulk materials and bagged products.
One trailer, multiple cargo types
The same trailer handles loose bulk, baled goods and palletised loads — useful when a route carries different cargo on the return leg.
Our equipment
Operated and maintained by Alvora
Our Walking Floor trailers run alongside our refrigerated and curtain-side fleet — maintained to the same standard and driven by our own teams. What's quoted is what shows up.
European coverage
Bulk transport across Europe
Walking Floor routes run alongside our regular European lanes — from the Baltics to Western Europe, Scandinavia and beyond. If a bulk cargo route exists somewhere we already operate, there's a good chance we can run it on a Walking Floor trailer.
